WHY THIS PLACE EXISTS

Motherhood asks us to carry so much.

Dear Mom, It’s Okay began with a simple belief: mothers do not need more noise. We need room to understand what we’re carrying, words that meet us honestly, and gentle practices that help us return to what matters.

Here in the ordinary, we find a holy God.

FROM ONE MOTHER TO ANOTHER

I’m Mercy.

I’m a Christian mom of three, a former teacher, a certified parenting educator, and the writer behind Dear Mom, It’s Okay.

I created these letters because I wanted mothers to receive something slower than another post on a screen. Something they could hold, reread, tuck inside a Bible or journal, and return to on the days motherhood feels particularly heavy. So once a month, I sit down and write one.
